Welcome to Perth and Kinross Sports Council Website.   

Perth and Kinross Sports Council was formed in 1975 and our Mission Statement is; “To promote interest and participation in sport throughout Perth and Kinross.” We have a Service Level Agreement with Perth and Kinross Council to carry out this function and in return we receive an annual grant. Constitution

The Executive within the Sports Council is made up of Volunteer members who all have the knowledge and skills to take our Mission Statement forward.  We have Administration support from Live Active Leisure and Financial support from Perth and Kinross Council.

We also, under different headings lead by Sub-Committee Chairpersons discuss and give out numerous types of Grants and discuss events that are pertinent to the functions of the Sports Council.

P&KSC is now open for business, the Committee would like to offer support to all our affiliated club members and Individual members.  If you have not affiliated for 2021/2022  and would like to do so, you will find our Affiliation Form on our membership page.  Our annual AGM will take place on the 24th of June 2021, due to restrictions it will only be opened to the Committee members.  A copy of the Annual Report will be posted on our website after this date.  We will also discuss any grant applications received during the meeting, if you are an Affiliated Club/Individual Member you will find our Grant Forms and information on our grants page.

Paul Fletcher who was a long serving Policeman with the fire-arms unit suffered a brain embolism a few years ago, Paul has returned to training and trains to the best of his ability.  During training Paul has shown true courage and devotion, Paul has been awarded his Blackbelt from our head of Organisation in Japan.

                     

        

The Spirit of Sport Must Go On

Live Active Leisure has announced the Spirit of Sport Awards in recognition of the efforts made and achievements gained by sports clubs, groups, organisations, athletes, volunteers, and coaches during lockdown 2020.
